For years, Danielle drove past Elements and often thought about going inside.

Then her daughter started pole.

One night, Danielle and her bestie watched one of her daughter’s performances… and before they knew it, they had joined too. 💜

At 54, Danielle wasn’t looking for perfection.

She wanted to build her core strength, feel stronger physically and mentally and most importantly…

Have fun.

But her journey hasn’t always been easy.

After experiencing a stroke four years ago, Danielle had been left dealing with changes to her balance, memory and coordination. At the same time, she was navigating the changes happening to her body through menopause.

She was already eating well and exercising regularly, yet she was frustrated by the changes she was seeing.

So she decided to try something different.

And Elements became so much more than a place to exercise.

It became a place where she could challenge herself, feel alive and reconnect with her body.

There were definitely hard days.

Watching the other girls climb the silks and do things she couldn’t yet do was incredibly difficult. There were limitations. There were frustrations.

And yes… there were many tears along the way.

There were moments Danielle wondered if she could keep going.

But her bestie reminded her of everything she’d already overcome.

She had her back.

And Danielle kept showing up. 💜

Today, she says:

“I feel so alive when I attend class.”

She’s physically stronger.
She’s mentally and emotionally stronger.
And she’s continuing to challenge herself.

She knows she may progress differently to the people around her — and that’s okay.

Because this isn’t about being the best in the room.

It’s about becoming stronger than you were yesterday.

Danielle says Elements is a place where women of all ages and body sizes are welcomed, supported and encouraged to embrace their inner goddess.

A place where you can express yourself without worrying about looking silly.

A place to grow physically, mentally and emotionally.

A community where everyone cheers you on.

And perhaps the moment that really cemented that feeling of belonging came during her first Low Flow class.

For Danielle, it was exactly what she needed to truly connect with her chosen apparatus – silks. ✨

Her advice to anyone thinking about trying something new?

Just DO IT.

Your journey won’t look like anyone else’s.

You might struggle.
You might surprise yourself.
You might even have a few tears along the way.

But keep showing up.

Because you never know what you’re capable of until you give yourself the chance to find out. 💜

We’re so proud of you, Danielle. Keep climbing. Keep growing. Keep challenging yourself. ✨
